Can I upgrade my plan at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time. Stripe will automatically charge for pro-rata pricing differences during upgrades.
What happens if I exceed the unique end user and/or the API call limits?
You will have to upgrade your plan to continue using the managed service if you exceed the unique end user count and/or the API call limits.
What are unique end users?
ACI.dev allows developers to manage their own end users’ authentication to various applications on the ACI.dev platform. Each unique user connecting an account to an application is counted as a unique end user and can link multiple accounts.
What are agent credentials?
The ACI Agent Secrets Manager lets agents store and retrieve secrets to enhance reliability and autonomy, especially for web agents that need to interact with login pages.
What are custom OAuth2 clients?
Custom OAuth2 clients are apps you register with an authorization server (like Google) to access protected resources on behalf of users or services. They allow end users to log into their Google apps through your OAuth2 client rather than ACI.dev’s.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
What happens to my users’ linked accounts if I cancel or downgrade?
Users can continue until the end of the billing period. If your unique end users exceed the new tier’s allowance, they will be locked out until you reduce the count. Contact us to export linked accounts.
What is your refund policy?
Subscriptions are non-refundable. UK/EU consumers can cancel within 14 days (Cooling Off Period) and receive a prorated refund from the cancellation date to the end of the paid period.

Is there a self-hosted option?
Yes. We offer a self-hostable gateway and control plane, as well as a managed cloud version.
How do you handle RBAC and approvals?
We support org/workspace roles, function-level permissions, allow/deny policies, and approval workflows.
What observability is included?
Full request logs, errors, latency, usage metrics, and audit trails across teams and environments.

What are Control Planes?
A control plane is a hosted instance of the overall platform, including the authentication process, proxying and gateway service instance. By default all users of our cloud service accesses the same service instance which is physically hosted in the United States. For a dedicated control plane with your own cluster and region requirements, please contact us for a custom plan.
What are Custom MCPs?
ACI.dev allows developers to bring their own MCP servers (whether internal, or external) that they want to use to be managed on the control plane and gateway. These are MCP servers that would be specific to your organization which you can mix and match to use during bundling with the external MCP servers that we natively offer.
What happens if I want to bring more of my own MCPs?
We would be happy to support you, please contact us for a custom plan.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
What happens to my organizational users accessing the gateway and control plane if I cancel or downgrade my subscription?
Your organizational users can continue to use the until the end of the billing period, but if your number of organizational users exceeds the allowance for the tier you are downgrading to, they will be locked out of accessing the service until you subscribe for additional seats. By default downgrading to the Free Tier would result in only the administrator having access to the control plane and gateway.
What is your refund policy?
Subscriptions are non-refundable for the duration of the subscription. If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you have the right to cancel your purchase for a paid subscription service within 14 days of the date of purchase without providing any reason (“Cooling Off Period”). If you choose to cancel your subscription during this period, you will receive a prorated refund of the relevant subscription fee, calculated from the date of your cancellation request to the end of the paid subscription period.
